Finding a reputable and responsible breeder

Finding a Reputable/Responsible breeder can be a daunting task.  You should be looking for someone who not only loves the breed, but understands the breed for more than just the income they can get.  I've provided some information to help you make an informed decision on where your next dog no matter the breed will come from.  Remember this new addition will be a part of your life for the next 10+ years!

The WCA exists to encourage and promote the breeding of pure-bred Weimaraners and to bring their natural qualities to perfection
To encourage the organization of independent local Weimaraner Specialty Clubs.  They urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Weimaraners shall be judged and bred.  They protect and advance the interests of the breed above all else.

(or commonly referred to as " the Woof Fund")

The Weimaraner Foundation Fund (WFF) is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization formed to benefit the Weimaraner breed. Their mission is to further the advancement of the Weimaraner by providing funds for education, and health research; fund requests associated with the adoption of homeless Weimaraners; and to help fund other projects that will assist Weimaraners and their owners in advancing the unique qualities of the Weimaraner.
Whether you currently own a Weim, had one in the past, or just love the breed, and would like to donate to a worthy organization that exists solely to support the Weimaraner.  Please consider donating to this worthy organization.
